2min Homes Studio Portrait Shoot

Here's a very quick and easy home studio setup for a portrait shoot that will take you 2min.

You don’t always need expensive equipment or studio to give you great results. I decided to be more creative and use the things I had in my room.

To do this I got a piece of pink cardboard, made a hole in it and started to tear the hole bigger so that my models face can fit in the hole.

I found some inspiration for this on pinterest.

I used my smart tv as a light souce by going onto Youtube and searching for white screen and made the window bigger. Next I had my model sit next to the tv and hold up the cardboard to her face.

I then placed a reflector on white side below her face to bounce some light to her face like a beauty shot. I also used a speedlight (flash) pointed up to the ceiling to bounce the light from the ceiling then onto the reflector which light up her face.

I edited it all in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Thanks to Sony Alpha SA for sending me the Sony a7iii to test out.
