A Boathouse

Situated in Simone's Town, nestled above the Naval Base sit a luxurious Guest House called A Boathouse. The hosts Lud and Therese are very friendly and welcoming.

It is a beautifully theme place with panoramic views of the harbour and Naval base and the False bay area.

A Boathouse boasts some stunning architecture with a marine style theme and open space. My favourite feature is walking in from the from door over a bridge over the pool to the main front door.

The upper deck holds the lounge, dinning room and kitchen area. Going down one floor is the pool room. Guests can access the 2nd floor down and lower room from the outside.

The rooms are very well laid out and inviting. It is quite a peaceful and cozy.

For guests wanting to dine out there are some wonderful restaurants in the are.

Breakfast is amazing and I have to warn you that you will walk out with a full stomach.

Breakfast is served with a delicious fruit salad, coffee, orange juice, muffins, toast and a choice between a mushroom omlet which is so delicious and pancakes. It is just absolute indulgents.

There is just something about enjoying breakfast with a panoramic view.

For the out going and adventurous types there are hiking trails and boulders beach to view the penguins.

I would recomment A Boathouse to anyone. You will absolutely enjoy your stay.
